Keira - 7 Weeks Old

Keira at 7 weeks old.  Over the past 2 weeks, we've seen a lot more quiet, alert times, with smiles and some "cooing" breaking out.  (previously she only alternated between sleeping, nursing and crying)

Brooke Swimming with Dad

Nearly every weekend, Dad takes Brooke swimming on Saturday and/or Sunday.  Brooke LOVES it!  Here she is running to get into the pool.

Keira's 1st White Sox Game

Scott was very excited to take Keira to her first White Sox game, when the Sox were in town to play the Pirates. 

Not the most flattering picture of Keira, but here she is cheering on the Sox in her onesie.

This was Brooke's second White Sox game.

The fans with the city in the background (the ballpark has a nice view of downtown).

Jen enjoys an Iron City brew, with kids afoot.  Ahh, beer and baseball -- summertime at last!

Keira - 6 Weeks Old

Keira's First Bath

Brooke helped Mom give Keira her first bath.  Boy, Mom forgot how hard it is to bath an infant!  They're slippery and so "breakable"!

She seemed to like the bath though.

The Brooke Rail Car!

There is now a rail car named BROOKE traveling the miles of train tracks across America! (double click on the picture to see the picture bigger, and you'll see her name on the door in the center of the car)

Keira - 5 Weeks Old

Girls Photo Session

Mom attempted a photo session of the two girls.  Brooke's antics are pretty funny.

Keira - 4 Weeks Old

Here is Keira at 4 Weeks Old.  At her 1 Month Well Check appt she was:

8lbs 7oz (30%)

20 1/2 inches tall (30%)

Brooke's 2nd Birthday

Grandma and Chief visited for Memorial Day weekend, to meet Keira and celebrate Brooke's birthday.  Here's Grandma holding Keira.

Chief was Brooke's best friend all weekend, and only HE could put her to bed.

Brooke's big birthday present was a horse -- the kind on the springs that you jump around on.  The night before, Dad and Chief sorted through all the pieces to put it together.

The morning of her birthday, we brought her down to meet Blaze.  She had lots of fun riding him.

Brooke blowing out her birthday cake.  Though she had no interest in eating it and pushed it away when Dad tried to feed her a bite.

Another big birthday gift hit was a tutu she received from the Kerr's.  The morning after her birthday she insisted on wearing it for breakfast.

Also during the weekend Brooke got a pool to swim in for the backyard. 

Or maybe it's a huge water bowl!
