Kennywood 2011

Brooke's been to Kennywood twice now!  Keira's been once!  We attended Scott's company's annual employee/family day and had a great time!  (Kennywood is a local amusement park, that's been around forever) 

Brooke navigated the skies in her fighter jets...

...rode the stormy seas with Dad on the S.S. Kennywood...

 ...looped around on a whirly twirly ride...

 ...and swung on the classic "swings" ride.

Possibly the best part of the day (if you ask Mom), was having ice cream before dinner!  Oh, if you ask Brooke, it was the Merry Go Round.  She loves the carousel and all the beautiful horses.  We rode it at least 3 times (though the pocket camera wasn't fast enough to capture a shot on it!).

Sister Love

Brooke and Keira are playing together more and more. Often it is tandem rides on either Lucky (this rolling pony who talks) or the Alphabet Train.

Either one, keep the smiles coming!

Visiting Gpa and Mimi in June 2011

With Dad out of town fishing in Canada, Mom packed up the girls and headed for a visit with Grandpa and Mimi.  We enjoyed some pool time and relaxation.  Brooke practiced relaxing with Grandpa in his "reading/napping/watching TV" room.

Keira received some gourmet meals of mashed bananas from Mimi.

A nice trip and we look forward to coming back in a month!

Aunt Kiki and Uncle Matt visit!

Aunt Kiki and Uncle Matt stopped through town for a couple nights, bringing much love to the girls.  We took them up the Duquesne Incline, otherwise known to Brooke as the "train up the hill."

It makes for great views of the city, bridges and rivers.

A summer art festival was going on downtown so we browsed some tents and tried to keep cool in the 90+ degree heat.

Brooke thoroughly enjoyed all the fun pictures on Uncle Matt's iphone.  While it was sad to say goodbye, we will happily see them again in a month in Cinci for Grandpa's big 7-0!
